A website for Rumpel-M-INFO, house clearances in Germany
About the project
Rumpel-M-INFO does house clearances, property clearing and removals, based in Gera with jobs around Leipzig and Halle. They take away everything from furniture and appliances to building rubble, for private people as well as for offices, warehouses and commercial spaces. They asked us for a German-language site where people could understand exactly what gets taken away and could ask for a quote without picking up the phone.
The website
We built the site around a single question: what do you want rid of and how much space does it take. The services are listed in clear categories — furniture, appliances, televisions and electronics, mattresses, garden waste, rubble — so visitors recognise themselves in the list straight away. The menu stays short: services, about, prices, blog, contact.
The request form
The quote request asks for the location and an estimate of the volume in cubic metres, not just "write us a message". That way the company gets what it needs to answer from the first message, and the customer no longer goes through three phone calls to get to a price. The form appears both on the first screen and at the bottom of the page.
Before and after
The page has a section with before-and-after photographs, because in a trade like this the result shows best in pictures. It is also the simplest way to show what a finished job looks like.
The blog
The blog is organised by town and by type of job: clearance in Leipzig, flat clearing, removal services in Halle. We went with that because people search for the service with the town name next to it, and the articles answer exactly the way the question is put.

The site gathered the services, the area covered and a simple way to ask for a price, with the rest happening on the phone or on site. The domain is no longer active, so the work is described in the form it was handed over.
