A website for Vincasoft, an Italian web services company
About the project
For more than twenty years Vincasoft has been making websites, mobile apps, hosting and messaging for professionals and for small and medium companies in Italy. Alongside the usual services they also have a mailing tool of their own, Easy Send. The site had to put all of that in order, without leaving the impression of a company that sells a bit of everything.
The four services
Web development, apps for iOS and Android, cloud hosting on SSD disks and Easy Send are grouped under "Soluzioni", each with its own page. On the home page they appear as four short blocks, with a line of explanation and a link to the details — just enough to understand what it is about at a glance.
The tone of the writing
The web development page runs on a comparison with tailoring: they take the measurements with the client, draw, tack together, make the site to fit. We kept that tone throughout, instead of technical descriptions that sound the same from anybody in the field.
The page about the company
The "Chi siamo" section tells the story in few words and in a few figures that count up as you scroll: years in business, server space, monthly traffic. Underneath come four strengths — experience, customisation, innovation, reliability — worded as an answer to what clients hear elsewhere: ready-made packages and "it cannot be done".
The client area
From the main menu you reach the Area clienti directly, and the webmail sits to hand in the footer — two links that existing clients look for more often than any introduction page. The contact form asks only for what is needed: name, town, phone, email and a note.
How it looks on a phone
More than 9 in 10 people open a website on their phone, so that is where it is decided. These screens come from the site as it runs today.
The page works on two fronts at once: it explains the services for anyone arriving for the first time and shortens the route to the panel and the webmail for anyone who is already a client.
