About the project

Bransha does building automation in Iași: BMS systems that tie lighting, climate control, access and security into one place, plus products and software developed by their own research team. They already had installations in hospitals, schools and residential buildings, but nowhere to show them end to end. They came to us for a site that would explain, in terms somebody outside the field could follow, what a building management system actually does.

01

The website

We built it in React, as one long page with sections that unroll one from the next: what changes in an automated building, what systems go into it, where it already works. We put the real installations up front — the children's hospital, the virology laboratory at the University of Agricultural Sciences, a secondary school — because they say more than a technical description. The text is written in the end client's language, not in product-sheet language.

02

The Munn app

Munn is the app through which Bransha's systems are controlled, so it has its own separate page. There we described in turn what it can do: scenarios for routines, notifications from sensors, video cameras, the history of actions, different accounts for residents, guests and staff. The booking part, which is aimed at a hotel manager rather than a resident, is treated separately.

03

The nurse call page

The nurse call system needed a step-by-step explanation. We made a separate page that follows a call from end to end: the patient presses the button, the ward lights up in the app, the nurse takes it, attends, then closes the call. We gathered there as well what matters to hospital management, namely the digital register of interventions.

04

The five languages

The site is translated into Romanian, English, Italian, German and Spanish. The text sits in a single set of translation files, so a change in Romanian does not leave the other versions behind. The address, the strapline and the footer change along with the language.

How it looks on a phone

More than 9 in 10 people open a website on their phone, so that is where it is decided. These screens come from the site as it runs today.

The site now covers three different things — the company, the app and the hospital system — without mixing them up. Each has its own address and can be sent on separately, to exactly the right person.
